For just one hour on the 29th of March 2008, 8pm your local time, you can help act on global warming by switching off your lights.
Over 2.2 million people in Sydney took part in the event March last year and created a powerful message that it is possible to take action on global warming. The darkened city included the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, and led to a 10% drop in energy usage.
From Sydney to Chicago, more cities are getting involved to act on the major climate crisis. Let's do it in Brunei too! Spread the word to your family and friends.
Oh, the best thing is that you can also help yourselves by cutting down costs in your electric bill! ;)
