If anything, Rod Stewart sounds like Sam! He's a huge fan, and he'd be the first to tell you my uncle was one of his biggest influences.

Thanks for sharing your love for this song with the rest of the world.

No problem, Juno. Sam was an incredible artist with an even more incredible life story. As his nephew I enjoy supporting venues that recognize his legacy.

This is such a privilege, Erik. I'm a University of Missouri journalism grad student from Brunei who's always hungry for good books and hugely passionate about writing as well as music. Juno has just opened an entirely new world of music to me and made me realize how soulful and enchanting your great-uncle was, so you can say this is the best of both worlds for me. I just wanted to join in this celebration of a timeless legend. I myself am a fan of Stereophonics, a Welsh rock band whose vocal origins can also be tied to Sam. Thank you Juno for bringing this into light. Thank you Erik for your take on the topic.

Zul,

I'm glad you've been musically enriched by both Sam and Juno.

My uncle was such a warm and generous person off-stage that I felt compelled to write my book. Besides, the greatest tragedy was how his life was taken because he refused to "play ball" with negative forces. Instead, the world was forced to swallow a farce of a story surrounding his demise. Believe me, when the whole picture is exposed, Sam's legacy shines that much brighter.
